Ink fingerprinting services

LA 911 Notary is a certified FBI Ink Fingerprint Card service. We are certified by the California Department of Justice and authorized by the FBI to roll fingerprints for background screening for certification, employment, licensure and immigration purposes.  

Live Scan Fingerprints are inkless electronic fingerprint files which are electronically transmitted to the Department of Justice and/or the FBI for a criminal-history record check. This option requires a Live Scan Request Form, of which we can help you find online. You are required to show one form of valid identification (state ID, driver’s license or passport). You must present these two items at the time of service to complete the process.  

The Live Scan Fingerprinting fee is $24 (a separate government processing fee may be applicable). The ink card service fee is $18 for the first card and $12 for any additional cards for the same individual. The blank FBI FD-258 cards are also available on-site.  

We welcome walk-ins during regular business hours. No appointment is necessary.
